I'm Acid
I'm Acid. Growing up, I was drawn to art, chaos, and weird sounds: anything that made noise, had clashing colors, or sounded intentionally a bit off. I grew up with jungle and UK electronic music blasting in my headphones, learning to mix on VirtualDJ and tinkering with my first drum machines without really knowing what I was doing. I still think that's the best way to start.
I've also lived with anxiety for a long time, and with that feeling that what I make is only half understood, or not understood at all. That's why putting my work out there and being seen is harder for me than it looks. This archive is, at once, a challenge I set for myself and an invitation to anyone with a similar, equally rare sensibility.
Whether you're just starting out, have been at it for years, or just have a soft spot for the strange and extraordinary, there's a place for you here. Music, design, photos, untagged experiments: it doesn't need to fit in anywhere, it just needs a pulse.
Acid.archive is very personal. It's part of how I try to make peace with my mental health: making, sharing, messing up, and making again. Long-term, I'd love for it to help sustain my creative life, pay for the care I need, and, if possible, lend a hand to others chasing their own thing. No rush, and no grand promises.
If any of this resonates, send me your work. I review every single one myself.
